Luna Heart is a German artist and singer based in the Netherlands, with close creative connections to Germany. Her music combines personal storytelling with memorable melodies, emotional depth and a clear sense of hope.
Her catalogue moves naturally between English, German and Dutch. Different languages, influences and musical moods come together in songs that remain personal, direct and recognisably Luna Heart.
Together with Carmina Records Hamburg, Luna Heart has developed a growing catalogue of official releases, music videos and collaborations, alongside professional material for radio, press and selected film, television and sync opportunities.
Alongside her solo work, a new musical chapter has emerged through Dirk & Luna Heart, adding intimate duet recordings and a Dutch dimension to the wider Luna Heart story.
From first steps to Luna Heart
A musical story shaped by life, relationships, different languages and the courage to begin again — growing from personal experiences into songs, collaborations and a European artist project.
Voice, stage and the love of music
Long before Luna Heart became an artist project, music was already part of the story through singing, vocal development and stage experience.
Over time, the wish grew to turn personal experiences into songs that could carry emotion, strength, hope and new beginnings.
A musical friendship with Mandy
Luna Heart and Mandy first connected during vocal training. Shared humour, musical energy and their different regional styles later became the foundation for the German collaboration “Ick sach ma so!”.
Jana and Dirk meet
In August 2022, Jana and Dirk met — the beginning of a personal story that would only later become part of the Luna Heart musical journey.
Music was already familiar territory for Dirk. He had sung in a boys’ choir, played piano and carried a naturally deep, warm voice with him long before the two began recording together.
The Luna Heart identity takes shape
Luna Heart developed into a clear multilingual artist identity built around emotional pop, pop rock and cinematic influences.
Hope, courage, connection, love and new beginnings became recurring themes across the music and visual world.
The professional chapter begins
In November 2025, Luna Heart began working with producer Gottfried Koch and Carmina Records Hamburg.
The collaboration developed beyond individual songs into production, official releases, instrumental versions, visual material, promotion and the development of the debut collection.
One song becomes a growing collection
2026 brought a rapidly growing catalogue, moving between English and German releases, collaborations, cinematic songs and personal storytelling.
Ela Ela brings summer into the story
Ela Ela added a Mediterranean-inspired side to Luna Heart — filled with movement, summer atmosphere and the feeling of celebrating life together.
Its official music video expanded the visual world of Luna Heart with a colourful and cinematic international atmosphere.
A Dutch song becomes something personal
As Luna Heart’s life became increasingly connected with the Netherlands, Dutch music naturally became part of the story as well.
“Het kleine café aan de haven” was one of the first Dutch songs Jana sang together with Dirk. For Dirk, the song already carried memories from his younger years and the familiar atmosphere of places and people from home.
What began as a song they simply enjoyed singing together gradually developed into their own shared interpretation.
Two voices, one new chapter
A personal connection became a musical one. Dirk’s deep, warm voice and Luna Heart’s expressive vocal style created a contrast that felt natural rather than planned.
The result was the first official chapter of Dirk & Luna Heart: two very different songs that reveal two sides of the same musical partnership.
The intimate side of the duet
Only You became the quieter and more intimate side of Dirk & Luna Heart.
The recording is built around closeness, trust and two contrasting voices coming together — a warm male voice beside the emotional colour of Luna Heart.
Instead of turning the collaboration into a separate project disconnected from Luna Heart, the duet became a natural extension of the wider musical story.
Het kleine café aan de haven
The Dutch recording has a different character. It connects music with memory, familiarity and a sense of home.
Dirk carries the main vocal role, while Luna Heart joins especially in the chorus, allowing the song to keep its Dutch character while becoming recognisably their shared version.
In that way, the song also represents the connection between two countries that has gradually become part of the Luna Heart story.
Twelve tracks in one debut collection
The first major chapter of Luna Heart is brought together in Brand New Day – The Debut Collection.
The physical promotion edition contains nine vocal recordings and three instrumental versions, representing English, German and Dutch material.
More than one musical direction
Luna Heart continues as a solo artist while the Dirk & Luna Heart recordings add another dimension to the project.
The next chapter continues through new music, collaborations, visual storytelling, live development, radio, press and selected film, television and sync opportunities.
